We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for everyone.

Our Commitment

We pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Expected Behavior

We expect all community members to:

  • Be respectful and considerate in all interactions
  • Use welcoming and inclusive language
  • Be collaborative and helpful to fellow learners
  • Show empathy towards other community members
  • Focus on what is best for the overall community
  • Accept constructive feedback gracefully
  • Take responsibility for mistakes and learn from them

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered harassment and are unacceptable:

  • Offensive comments related to personal characteristics
  • Personal attacks or insults
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others’ private information without permission
  • Inappropriate sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, derogatory comments, or personal attacks
  • Disrupting discussions or learning activities
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate

Learning Environment

In our learning spaces, we encourage:

  • Asking questions without fear of judgment
  • Sharing knowledge and experiences openly
  • Providing constructive feedback on projects
  • Celebrating each other’s achievements
  • Supporting struggling learners
  • Maintaining a growth mindset

Enforcement

Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Consequences for violations may include:

  • Warning or temporary restrictions
  • Temporary suspension from community activities
  • Permanent removal from the community
  • Refusal of service or course enrollment

All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality. We are committed to ensuring that no one experiences retaliation for reporting misconduct in good faith.
